Northampton Time Recorders Limited (NTR) is an independent, family run company who has been successfully trading for over 40 years in time clocks. The core business is in the supply, maintenance and support of all clocking systems and associated products, with a rare capability and knowledge of both older traditional equipment as well as the more sophisticated systems of today. No! We will only send out systems that are very easy to install by the customer, this normally involves drilling holes and fixing the machine to the wall with three or four screws. Fitting instructions are normally enclosed. We also offer an installation service for a nominal fee if required.
All our new systems have a 12 month guarantee! If, in the vary rare instance your machine fails, it will be replaced.
Buddy punching occurs when one employee asks another employee to clock in on their behalf. In some cases, employee #1 is running late or has not arrived to work at the scheduled time, so they ask employee #2 to clock in for them, in the hopes that the manager or supervisor on duty won’t notice the late arrival. Biometric systems prevent “Buddy Punching” completely.
Most basic systems are in stock for immediate despatch, so you’ll normally receive them next day, programmed and ready to use.
